Lawrence Cline, 104, of Alexandria was honored with a State Senate Resolution recognizing his years of service in the U.S. Army presented by Sen. Bill Ingebrigtsen of Alexandria. Cline served in the Army from 1942 to 1945.
Alexandria and Osakis events are on Nov. 11, while Brandon-Evansville programs are on Nov. 14.

Award has special meaning for employees at Alexandria bank

The opening of the new facility on 30th avenue East in Alexandria is delayed to sometime late fall/early winter of this year due to supply shortages causing a strain on renovations.
