Radio station's "Christmas Wish" promotion over the past six years has helped out numerous people at a time of the year when they may need a big boost.
Addresses came from the Echo Press Facebook page, the Alexandria Area Christmas Lights Facebook page and the “Let it Glow Christmas Lights Contest” sponsored by Runestone Electric Association.

After a two-year hiatus, the CP Holiday Train has returned, traveling across the upper Midwest and Canada, spreading holiday joy and collecting money and food for local food banks.
