Brandon-Evansville’s Bailey Schaefer wrapped up her junior year in volleyball by being honored with a lot of awards at the Chargers’ banquet.
Schaefer was a first-team Little Eight Conference selection and the LEC MVP. She also grabbed the team MVP honor for B-E after another big season. Schaefer led the Chargers in kills by a wide margin with 339 and also had 32 ace serves and 197 digs.
Junior Mikenna Pattrin joined Schaefer as a first-team All-LEC player. Pattrin was second on the team with 203 kills and led the Chargers with 47 blocks. Brittany Korkowski and Korrie Randt were second-team All-LEC players, and Kailee Klimek and Kristen Kokett were honorable-mention selections.
Randt earned the Dedication Award from her teammates after starting at setter this season. She finished with 669 assists to go along with 124 digs and 12 ace serves. Senior Maddie Otto rounded out the Chargers’ team award winners with the Leadership Award.
Brandon-Evansville went 18-8 on the court, and also performed well in the classroom as a group. The Chargers earned an Academic All-State Silver Award with a team GPA of 3.74. Klimek was also an individual all-state academic award winner.
