The Osakis volleyball team saw its season come to an end on Tuesday night against the top-seeded team in its field.

The Silverstreaks lost a 3-0 match to Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa on Aug. 27, and the Jaguars (21-8) delivered the same outcome on Tuesday in the Section 5A playoffs. BBE won 25-17 in the first set and then took sets two and three by 25-15 scores.

Madisen Johanson led Osakis with seven kills, while Emily Waldorf had six and Laynee Hartshorn finished with four kills and three blocks. Jose Hartshorn had 11 assists, and Alli Rach had a team-high 16 digs.

Osakis finished the fall season with an 11-17 record overall. The Silverstreaks won a Prairie Conference title with a 7-1 record in league play.
