The West Central Area Volleyball team went 1-3 in the Wheaton Tournament on Friday.

After beating Sisseton 2-1, the Knights dropped matches to Wheaton, Lac qui Parle Valley and Park Christian.

“We are still trying to find the right combination of players to be more consistent. We want to gain and keep momentum and have good team chemistry,” head coach Melissa Foslien said. “It’s time to start making decisions on who is going to get the job done when we are on the court.”

After the tournament, the Knights are 2-4 on the season.

“We struggled blocking today and had a lot of balls dropped in the middle of the court that we need to start picking up,” she said. “Ellie Herman had a great day playing middle and tried playing outside for two games. Kaleigh Anderson and Emma Swanson have been in and out of the libero and setting role.”
