The Minnewaska girls tennis team went 1-1 in Litchfield on Saturday.

After getting swept by the home school, the Lakers beat Foley 5-2 to salvage the weekend.

Danielle Thorfinnson won a three-set thriller in the No. 1 singles match against Peyton Kopel (6-7 (5), 6-3, (10-6). Alissa Thorfinnson defeated Brooke Beier 6-3, 6-4 in the No. 2 singles match. Addy Randt picked up the third singles point for the lakers in the No. 4 matchup against Alaina Hageman (3-6, 6-4, 11-9).

The teams of Greta Reichmann and Annika Randt, along with Maddie Thorfinnson and Olivia Richards won the Nos. 1 and 2 doubles matches.
