The Alexandria girls tennis team breezed to another Central Lakes Conference win on Tuesday as the Cardinals improved to 4-0 in league play with a 7-0 victory over Rocori.

Brianna Holm, Kaylee Svee, Sarah Jiang and Jaya Hatlestad all won at singles. Hatlestad fended off Katie Kaluza in three sets by winning the second and third 7-5, 6-4. Holm, Svee and Jiang all won in straight sets.

Joria Downing and Taylor Sayre won 6-4, 6-2 at first doubles. Whitly Netland and Maci Tilleskjor were 6-2, 6-1 winners and Autumn Botz and Anna Doherty won 6-1, 7-6 (2) at third doubles.

“All of our doubles teams came out with an aggressive attitude and constantly put pressure on their opponents by rushing the net and forcing the issues,” Alexandria head coach Dave Ronning said. “It was a great team win for our girls.”

The Cardinals were 6-4 overall after the victory.
