The Alexandria swimming and diving team’s winning streak reached four meets on Thursday night as the Cardinals took care of Bemidji in dominant fashion with a 113-64 victory.
Sidney Johnson, Grace Urke, Zoe Solum and Julia Wilmesmeier got things started for Alexandria by winning the 200-medley relay in 2:05.31. It was part of three relay wins on the day as the 200 freestyle team of Hattie Galloway, Alaina Guenther, Emma Bugher and Allea Balcome won in 1:49.03, and Urke, Rayna Holm, Summer Overland and Brooklyn Millward took the 400 freestyle relay in 4:06.89.
Millward also won the 200 freestyle in 2:10.66, while Jisella Haskamp was the 200 IM winner in 2:27.46. Guenther led a 1-2-3 finish for Alexandria in the 50 freestyle with her win in 26.86 seconds, and Erica Johnson led the divers by taking second after totaling 188.50 points.
The second half of the swim meet started with Aleah Dokter winning the 100 butterfly in 1:07.24 and Johnson winning the 100 freestyle in 59.93 seconds. Urke swam the 500 freestyle and won in 5:55.70 before Galloway won the 100 backstroke (1:06.50) and the 100 breaststroke (1:17.26) to put the finishing touches on things.
