The Osakis tennis team is proving once again that this program simply reloads rather than rebuilds.
The Silverstreaks have gotten off to a fast start behind a lot of newcomers to the varsity lineup after moving to 8-1 with a 7-0 win over Parkers Prairie on Monday. Osakis won every match in straight sets, including 6-0, 6-0 wins for Ashley Kraemer and Jenna Fearing at second and fourth singles, respectively.
Alexa Hoffarth played in the top singles spot and won 6-4, 6-1 over Renee Warren. Hannah Szech also got a straight-set win at third singles in a 6-0, 6-2 match against Abigail Koep.
The doubles lineup was anchored by Krista Fearing and Morgan Silbernick at the top spot. They won 6-0, 6-1 over Kaitlyn Kastner and Kamryn Arceneau. Marissa Zarbok and Alayna Eldred won 6-1, 6-0 at second doubles and Emma Kulzer and Liz Sabrowsky won 6-3, 6-2 at third doubles.
