Chanse Pederson of Carlos carded a hole-in-one while golfing at the Nordic Trails Golf Club on June 12.

Pederson was golfing with Dan Murphy when he used a wedge from 95 yards out to ace the par-three sixth hole.

Millers to sit out 2020 season

The Millerville Millers baseball team, part of the Resorters amateur league, will sit out the 2020 summer season that just got started in late June due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Current Millerville player/manager Brandon Christianson wrote in a text to the Echo Press that the Millers won’t be playing this shortened summer season, but that they will be back in 2021 with a team.

Many Resorters League teams are trying to put together schedules through the month of July that will allow them to play each other at least once ahead of region tournaments in August.
