Sports brief: Dalin Reiter shines at Minnesota Special Olympics competition

Reiter was one of the best alpine skiers in the state at the Minnesota Special Olympics competition on Feb. 25, 2023.

The Minnesota Special Olympics alpine skiing qualifying meet and State Championship was recently held on Feb. 25, 2023, at Wild Mountain in Taylors Falls and featured an Alexandria area athlete who shined at the competition.

Dalin Reiter, of Parkers Prairie, who trains out at Andes Tower Hills in Kensington, placed in the top four in three different events.

Reiter placed fourth overall in the downhill events. He earned bronze (third) in the giant slalom and silver (second) in the slalom competition at the state championship.
