The Bertha-Hewitt-Verndale-Parkers Prairie wrestling team had a nice Tuesday at earned victories in New York Mills. B-H-V-PP defeated LPGE-Browerville 38-30 and New York Mills 47-30.
B-H-V-PP trailed 30-28 with two matches to go against LPGE-Browerville, but with a 9-1 major decision at 220 from Braden Shamp and a Hunter Strom pin at 285 (2:58), B-H-V-PP pulled out the win.
The Raiders also had pins from Deagen Captain at 138 (0:25), David Revering at 145 (1:32), Blake Sumstad at 152 (4:01), while Justin Olson (120), earned a 17-5 major decision.
Hudson Traux earned a win by decision at 106 (8-5) and Orran Hart did as well at 113 by a 6-1 score.
B-H-V-PP had five wins by forfeit against New York Mills, along with pins by Revering (1:00) and Cayden Kimber at 170 (5:12).

Bennet Arceneau had the other team’s win in the dual at 132 by a 16-1 technical fall.
B-H-V-PP hosts a triangular at 5 p.m. on Friday.
