The Osakis boys tennis team lost a home match to Yellow Medicine East by a score of 5-2.

Osakis picked up wins at No. 1 singles by Isaac Maddock, who remains undefeated, and from Connor Gulbranson and Marcus Wolf at No. 1 doubles, both in straight sets.

As a team, Osakis is now 0-14 this year but it isn’t allowing the record to define the season it's having.

“Our young team continues to improve so while we are not seeing team success yet this season, we think that we will start to see a lot of team success in the future,” head coach Ryan Maddock said.

The Silverstreaks host a match against MACCRAY on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
