The Minnewaska boys tennis program improved to 16-3 with a pair of wins on Saturday. The Lakers defeated Moorhead 7-0 and St. Michael-Albertville 4-3.
In the St. Michael-Albertville match, Minnewaska swept the singles matches 4-0 but was swept in doubles matches.
Tate Reichmann had a straight-set victory at No. 1 singles, while Gannon Walsh won in three sets at No. 2 singles and Damon Uhde at No. 3 singles and Ethan Quelle at No. 4 singles won in straight sets.
Minnewaska came close to winning the No. 1 doubles as the team of Tenzin Dahl and Nik VanDyke lost in three sets, and both sets it lost were by two points.
The Lakers mixed up their lineup in the Moorhead match. Damon Uhde saw action at No. 1 singles and earned a straight-set 6-0, 6-0 victory and Reichmann, who is normally the starter at No. 1 singles, played at No. 1 doubles with Walsh. Reichmann and Walsh earned a straight-set victory.

Minnewaska had straight-set victories from Ethan Quelle at No. 2 singles, Connor Quelle at No. 3 singles and Konner Hanson at No. 4 singles.
VanDyke/Dahl earned a straight-set victory at No. 2 doubles, while the team of Alec Larson and Noah Palmer earned a straight-set victory at No. 3 doubles.
Minnewaska and Foley are set to play in a triangular at Sartell at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
