Swim and Dive: Alexandria boys rout St. Cloud Apollo

The Alexandria boys swim and dive team is now ready for the Central Lakes Conference championship on Feb. 11, after beating St. Cloud Apollo, 110-75 in its final regular season meet of the season.

Alexandria had eight first place finishes and had six first place finishes in swimming events. Logan Tung took first place in the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke, Erik Reineke did so in the 200 IM and 100 freestyle, and Eric Peterson did so in the 50 freestyle.

The Cardinals’ divers shined as Kyler Kavanagh took first place, Krew Muscha earned second, and Jackson Bertram earned third.

Alexandria competes in the CLC meet on Saturday, Feb 11, in Sauk Rapids.

The Alexandria boys swim and dive team ended the regular season on a good note with a 110-75 win over St. Cloud Apollo and will now prepare for the Central Lakes Conference meet.
