The Alexandria girls hockey team completed a regular season sweep of the Fergus Falls Otters with a 3-0 shutout win on Tuesday on the road. The Cardinals beat the Otters 3-2 in overtime on Nov. 15.
The win gives the Cardinals a 3-0-1 record in Central Lakes Conference games so far this season.
Hunter Sellnow earned her first career win in net for the Cardinals in her first start as she came up with 19 saves. The Cardinals had a 25-19 shot on goal advantage.
Emma Ramstorf scored twice in the win, while Jersey Severson scored her first career varsity score. Sophia Korynta, Julia Doherty, and Lillian Dutton had assists in the win.
Alexandria (4-2-1) finishes the week with a game at home on Thursday against Willmar at 7:15 p.m. and on Saturday at Gentry Academy at 3 p.m.

Little Falls boys top Alexandria 7-2
The Little Falls boys hockey team earned its second win of the season on Tuesday by beating Alexandria (0-3) 7-2 at the Runestone Community Center.
Alexandria’s two goals came from Kasen Muscha (his first-ever varsity goal) and Jack Lamski. Joe Lamski, Gavin Olson, Gage Castle and Leo Kompelien had assists in the game.
Little Falls outscored Alexandria 2-0 in the first period, 2-1 in the second and 3-0 in the third.
The Cardinals finish the week with its first road game of the season, at River Lakes (in Richmond) at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday and at home against East Grand Forks at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
