The Alexandria girls hockey team found itself in a 1-1 heading into the final frame in its road game on Monday against River Lakes.
With third period goals by Ella Westlund and Lauren Maras, Alexandria secured the 3-1 win.
Westlund scored the first goal of the game and put Alexandria ahead 1-0 in the first period.
Alexandria finished with a 52-9 shot on goal edge.
Rachael Mohr earned the win in net for Alexandria and made eight saves.

Emma Ramstorf had two assists in the game, while Ramstorf, Lillian Dutton, and Kylie Lattimer had one.
Alexandria (12-10-1, 9-0-1 Central Lakes Conference) hosts River Lakes (7-14-1, 2-7 CLC) at the Runestone Community Center on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
The Cardinals are on a four-game winning streak.
