In its final invitational of the regular season, the Alexandria dance team had a solid showing.

At a 14-team invitational in Monticello, Alexandria placed seventh in varsity jazz and surpassed its goal of finishing 11th by earning a season-best score of 292. In the varsity kick competition, Alexandria placed ninth in a tiebreaker and earned a season-best score of 303.

“I’d say we had a great last weekend of the regular season, and we are so excited to head to sections,” Alexandria head coach Jalen Arnold said.

The Alexandria JV teams shined as well, as they placed ninth in the jazz competition with a season-high score of 206 and fifth in the kick competition with a season-high score of 212.

“This was their last competition of the season, and they finished extremely strong,” Arnold said.
