The Alexandria boys hockey team was victorious on the road against River Lakes on Thursday as it won 4-2.
Both teams scored twice in the first frame. Tyler Kludt and Keegan Lucy scored Alexandria’s first period goals.
Alexandria iced the game with third period goals from Jack Breitzman and Evan Anderson.
Caleb Lind and Matthew Anderson both had two assists in the Cardinals win, while Bennett Olsen, Nick Peterson, and Anderson had one.
Alexandria (3-10-1, 2-1-1 Central Lakes Conference) had a 32-23 shot on goal advantage in its win over River Lakes (4-12-1, 2-4 CLC). EJ Rasmusen earned the win in net for Alexandria and made 21 saves in the win.

The Cardinals host Fergus Falls (8-4, 2-2 CLC) on Friday at 7:15 p.m.
Alexandria beat Fergus Falls 4-2 in last season’s Section 6A championship game.
