The Brandon-Evansville boys basketball team earned a spot in the Kimball Tournament championship game, where it met Mora on Saturday. With a strong second half, Mora won the championship game, 71-43.
Mora led 32-22 at halftime and outscored B-E 39-21 in the second half.
“I loved how we played,” B-E head coach Trent Hintermeister said. “Mora is an excellent basketball team with multiple weapons that can beat you in many different ways. They deserved to win, but it wasn't because we played poorly. We look forward to continuing to grow as a team.”
Dezmond White led the Chargers in scoring with 17 points. Micah Fuller had 14 points and led the team in rebounds with six. Brady Perleberg and Tanner Riedel each had three assists in the game.
Gage Braidey led Mora in scoring with 18 points.
