The Alexandria boys basketball team increased its winning streak to eight with a 64-20 win over the Fergus Falls Otters on Thursday, Jan. 12, on the road.
Alexandria is now 8-1 on the season and is ranked No. 6 in the Class AAA Minnesota Basketball News poll.
Alexandria has had a margin of victory of 21 points or more in its last five wins.
Grayson Grove had a double-double, 26 points and 14 rebounds for the Cardinals in the win. Jaxon Schoerock also reached double figures as he finished with 10 points. He also had three deflecitons and four steals.
Bralyn Steffensmeier led the team in assists with six.

The Cardinals are on the road on Tuesday to face Sartell-St. Stephen (2-9) at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
