The Glenwood-Lowry Legion 18U baseball team earned a pair of victories over Long Prairie-Grey Eagle on Thursday by scoring a combined 21 runs in the two games.
Glenwood-Lowry won the first game 10-0 and the second game 11-6 in five innings. Dylan Alexander had a big day on Thursday with six hits, including a home run in game one.
Glenwood-Lowry jumped on LPGE early in game one by scoring seven runs in the first inning. Glenwood-Lowry had 11 hits in game one, led by Alexander with three. Alexander had three RBIs in the game.
Torii Johnson and Blake Andreas each had two hits in game one.
Hunter Johnson and Andreas shut down the LPGE batters in game one as LPGE had just one hit. Johnson threw six strikeouts in six innings.

Glenwood-Lowry fell behind early in game two, 3-0 after the second inning. Things picked up for Glenwood-Lowry in the bottom of the third inning as it scored seven runs in the bottom of the third, and it never relinquished the lead again.
LPGE made it 7-5 by scoring two runs in the top of the fourth, but Glenwood-Lowry responded by scoring four runs in the bottom of the fourth.
Alexander once again had three hits, including his second double of the day. Glenwood-Lowry had 12 hits in the game, including a home run by Conner Stein.
Jack Majerus had two hits, including a triple and two RBIs in the game. Andreas also had two hits and two RBIs in the game.
Jacob Blair picked up the win on the mound for Glenwood-Lowry in game two. He pitched two and a third innings in relief of Torii Johnson and struck out four batters.
LPGE had 11 hits in game two.
