Oeltjen doubled and tripled as part of a 4-hit day. Her 2-run double in the sixth broke a 13-13 tie. Hartshorn homered and Klimek also had four hits.
“We hit the ball very well today, and we needed to,” Osakis head coach John Stigman said.
“This was one of those games in which the last team to score wins. We were fortunate to be that last team to score.”
Osakis now hosts a big Prairie Conference and Section 6AA game against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (10-4) today, Tuesday, with a 5 p.m. first pitch. The Thunder won a 10-9 game against the Silverstreaks on April 30. Both teams are 4-1 in conference play.
