The weekend starts with very windy conditions for the Northland, making the fishing opener a little tricky for unexperienced boaters on the water.
Temperatures Friday will be in the 60s up north and 70s farther to the south. Going into the weekend we keep cooling down to more into the 60s throughout the region.
Conditions this weekend will for the most part be quiet. A couple rain showers are possible Saturday and Sunday, but overall most of the region stays dry.
Winds on Saturday won't be quite as strong as Friday, but will still be breezy for most of the region with gusts over 30mph still possible.
Going into Sunday, winds settle down a bit but still stay breezy. Temperatures are very similar to Saturday and will see similar chances of light scattered showers.
