Clean Out the Bemo fishing event goes well for Viking Sportsmen Inc.

ALEXANDRIA - Over the last two weekends, Viking Sportsmen Inc. hosted the Clean Out the Bemo fishing event at Bemo Pond in Alexandria.

The event ran on Sunday, March 19, and Sunday, March 26, 2023.

The main focus of the event was catching rainbow trout fish, and everyone that caught a fish earned a prize.

The event featured anglers of all ages who brought their own equipment to fish in the pond. The event was open to Viking Sportsmen members and volunteers as well as potential volunteers and members.

The fishing lasted all day on both days and featured a tailgate-style lunch midway through those days.
