The Viking Speedway hosted its Labor Day doubleheader this weekend with a big field of drivers (116 total cars both nights) coming to Alexandria.
Dent’s Ryan Satter wanted to culminate his standout summer at the Viking Speedway with a feature win against a big field, and he got it done on Sunday night.
Satter won the Street Stock feature that started with 27 drivers as Parker Anderson of Phillips, Wisconsin took second and Kasey Ussatis of Nome, North Dakota was third. Satter was fourth in the Street Stock feature the night before, as Anderson won that feature race ahead of Braden Brauer of Eyota and Justin Vogel of Brooten on Saturday night.
Ron Sauer of Dalton won the Midwest Modifieds feature on Sunday night, while Lowry’s Zach Johnson took the 15-car Modifieds feature ahead of second-place finisher Dustin Bitzan of Brandon in a race that saw Johnson storm ahead late. Karter Reents of Glenwood won the Super Stock feature, and Kevin Youngquist of Barney, North Dakota won the short trackers feature.
Saturday’s feature winners included Brennan Gave of Princeton (Midwest Mods), Bitzan (Modifieds), Trevor Sauer (Super Stocks) and Kevin Youngquist (short trackers), along with Anderson’s Street Stock win.
The Viking Speedway has one more event left on the schedule this summer as it will host the Demo Derby Viking Speedway Beat Down on Oct. 2.
