Mora hands Osakis its first loss

Isaac Maddock won a third straight match at first singles for the Silverstreaks.

The Osakis tennis team traveled to Mora on Saturday where the Silverstreaks dropped their first match of the season in a 6-1 final.

Osakis sophomore Isaac Maddock got the lone win for the Silverstreaks at first singles. He improved to 3-0 on the season with a 6-2, 6-1 win.

“We had good efforts today versus a good Mora team,” head coach Ryan Maddock said. “Isaac had a very good performance today in winning his match at No. 1 singles. It was a good experience getting to play at Mora’s indoor facility.”
