Lakers grab seventh win against Benson

The Minnewaska tennis team swept through the singles lineup on Thursday and put away Benson in a 6-1 match to improve to 7-2 overall and 7-1 in the West Central Conference.

Alissa Thorfinnson, Addy Randt, Annika Randt and Leah Hagen all won in straight sets through the singles lineup.

Maddie Thorfinnson and Olivia Richards had a tough match at first doubles but persevered for a 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, 10-5 win. Grace Jensen and Olivia Bleick got the sixth point for the Lakers with a straight-set win at the third doubles spot.
