Four 18U Northstar Christian Academy hockey players were selected in the United States Hockey League Phase II draft.

Jacob Napier was taken by the Muskegon Lumberjacks 12th overall. The defenseman finished third in the team in points with 59, tallying 22 goals and 37 assists. Both the goals and assists totals were single-season records by a Northstar defenseman. Napier is committed to the University of Western Michigan.

The second Knight drafted was Reese Laubach in the 3rd round. The Youngstown Phantoms took Northstar’s record-setting scorer 33rd overall. Laubach had 75 points in 52 games, which is the most in any season by a Northstar player. Laubach is committed to the University of Minnesota-Mankato.

Muskegon took another Northstar standout in the eighth round. Cody Croal went 112th overall and tallied 71 points on the season. Croal was paired on a line with Laubach this season but remains undecided on a college selection.

The final Knight taken was selected in the 14th round by the Cedar Rapids Roughriders. Calvin Hanson potted 20 goals and 34 assists in his lone season with the Knights. He was one of five Northstar players to reach the 20-goal mark this season and one of six to have 30 assists.
