Boys golf: Cardinals win at St. Cloud
The Alexandria boys golf team won a Central Lakes Conference meet in St. Cloud on Tuesday as the Cardinals added to an early lead in the league standings.
Alexandria shot a 294, while Brainerd was second at 307. Sartell-St. Stephen rounded out the top three with a 311.
Eighth-grader Braeden Sladek tied for first individually as he shot a 71. Teammates Hunter and Grant Rebrovich were not far behind with 74s to tie for third. Noah Boraas shot a 75 to tie for fifth, and Wyatt Cavers and Joe Bigger rounded out the lineup with a 78 and 87, respectively.
The Cardinals have 16 total points in the CLC standings with two of the six league meets now played. Brainerd and Sartell both have 13.
