The Osakis girls came up just short in their regular-season finale against an 18-7 Benson team.

The Braves overcame a one-point deficit at the break to grab a 45-41 win on Monday night. Emily Goff had 10 of her game-high 15 points after halftime to lead her team to the win.

The Silverstreaks put three players in double figures. Annalise Savageau had 14, while Brooke Sorenson and Calista Sadlemyer finished with 13 and 10, respectively.

"This was a good game for us tonight," head coach Pat Kalpin said. "Benson has a real athletic team, and our girls played very hard. We were able to hold on to the lead throughout most of the game. In the end, it came down to executing on the offensive end and rebounding."

The Silverstreaks finished the regular season with an 11-15 record overall. They won four of their last six games heading into the Section 6AA tournament last night, Thursday.
