The winter weather expected in parts of Minnesota that might bring with it some snow in the area on Friday has caused at least one schedule change football this week.

Undefeated Brandon-Evansville (6-0) has moved up its game against Wheaton-Herman-Norcross (4-2) from Friday to Thursday at 5:30 p.m. The forecast on Thursday calls for some rain but with temperatures in the mid-50s.

The game will be played in Brandon, and it's one of two home games against good opponents for the Chargers to end the regular season. They host another unbeaten team in Hancock (6-0) on Oct. 16 to wrap up the regular season.

If both Brandon-Evansville and Hancock win this week, that final head-to-head game could determine which program gets the top seed in the Section 4, 9-man field.
