Diamond King Baseball seeking nominations

Diamond King Baseball is looking for its four award winners at the high school level.

Since 2012, Diamond King Baseball has given out an award that recognized strong character traits in high school baseball players on and off the field. Now, they’re looking for this year’s nominations from coaches.

Diamond King Baseball gives out four awards based on humility, accountability, resilience and discipline. Coaches should submit a nomination to Adam Hoogenakker at dkbaseball2019@gmail.com . He can also be reached at (925) 300-7639.

The 2021 event is scheduled for July 31 prior to the St. Cloud Rox Northwoods League game at Joe Faber Field. A pregame ceremony will be held along with an on-field presentation of the ward to the four winners. The Diamond King Award is a major league sized wood bad with the player’s name, school and winning trait engraved.
