The Alexandria dance team finished in eighth place in kick and seventh in jazz at a Central Lakes Conference meet in Brainerd on Friday.
Head coach Christine Reilly was especially impressed with the Cardinals’ jazz routine in the CLC meet.
“The team had their best performance yet in jazz,” Reilly said. “I was very proud of the individual improvements made and as a team they performed with a lot of energy and it was very fun to watch.”
Reilly said improvements were made with the kick routine, but they still had too many individual errors.
The Cardinals next competition is January 3 at Rocori High School.
