The Cardinal gymnastics team wrapped up the home portion of its schedule with a 142.35-120.25 loss to Sartell last Thursday night.
Alexandria recognized senior manager Nikki Hammond, who was unable to participate in gymnastics this season because of injury. The Cardinals also recognized the families of the gymnasts on Parents' Night.
Sarah Sater and Sarah Dolan both scored high in the all-around category. Sater finished with a score of 31.95, while Dolan recorded a 31.6. Sater finished with the top floor and beam routine for Alexandria, while Dolan had the top vault and bar routine.
Rachel Sjostrand ended with a 29.0 in the all around. She scored a 7.95 on the vault, a 6.6 on the bars, 7.05 on the beam and a 7.4 on the floor. Jenna Steffl and Katlin Rice both performed on the floor with scores of 6.8 and 5.9, respectively. Taylor Kaufman rounded out the varsity gymnasts with scores of 8.256 and 6.65 on the vault and bar routines, respectively.
