BOYS SWIMMING AND DIVING

The Cardinals had many top-eight finishes at the Class A state meet and earned fifth as a team. Freshman Kyler Kavanagh finished second in diving, which is the highest finish any Alexandria diver has had at the state meet.
The Cardinals shined in a variety of events on Friday and Saturday en route to winning the Section 5A title.
Logan Tung and Eric Peterson won Central Lakes Conference titles and helped Alexandria place third as a team.
The Alexandria boys swim and dive team ended the regular season on a good note with a 110-75 win over St. Cloud Apollo and will now prepare for the Central Lakes Conference meet.
