The Minnewaska boys' basketball team won its fourth straight game on Saturday with an 81-47 victory over Yellow Medicine East.
That came just a day after the Lakers took care of Osakis 85-61.
Pierce Peters set a Minnewaska high school record for most points scored in a single game with 39 against the Sting on Saturday. Peters shot 14 of 20 from the field and 10 of 14 from the free throw line. He also added 10 rebounds to complete the double-double.
The Lakers held a 20-point lead at the break and added to that in the second half to coast to the easy win.
They followed that same blueprint the night before against Osakis. The Lakers jumped all over the Silverstreaks in the opening 18 minutes, building a 45-17 lead at the break.

Osakis' Matt Laven tried to lead the Silverstreaks back in the second half with 18 points, including five three-pointers. The damage had been done, though, and the Lakers held on for the easy win.
Peters led three Minnewaska players in double figures with 21 points to go along with 12 rebounds. Shane Bosek had 18 points, and Jake Mikkelson poured in 14 and six rebounds.
