It wasn't pretty, but the West Central Area boys' basketball team got a road win over Hancock in a 42-40 game last Thursday night.
Neither team could do much on offense. The Knights shot 28 percent from the field but it was good enough to get the win. Hancock had a chance with 11 seconds left but a turnover on an inbounds pass helped WCA secure the win.
Bryan Starner led the Knights with a double-double, finishing with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Beau Kashmark had 11 points and Christian Hammer finished with 10.
