The West Central Area boys basketball team bounced back from its 68-62 loss to Henning on Jan. 14 by dominating Ortonville on the road two days later.

It was a familiar formula for the Knights (11-2) in the 84-31 win. A balanced scoring effort led to a 60% shooting night from the field, including a 10-of-22 game from three. They countered by holding the Trojans (4-4) to just 28% shooting.

Ortonville scored the first four points of the night. The Knights then went on a 31-0 run to blow the game open as they led 46-15 at the half.

Grant Beuckens led five WCA players in double figures with 18. Tate Christenson and Jack Van Kempen each had 13, while Blake Koloski had 11 and Gage Staples finished with 10.
