The Minnewaska boys basketball team used a big second half to rally past New London-Spicer on Friday night.

The Lakers (8-3) trailed by 12 at the half before putting up 48 second-half points to secure a 66-60 win over the 3-9 Wildcats.

Minnewaska shot 51% from the field. The Lakers won it from inside the arch after going just 1-of-9 from three. They also knocked down 15-of-21 free throws.

Peyton Johnsrud had a team-best 20 points. Sam Hested added 19, Aaron Ver Steeg had 14 and Grant Jensen made it four players in double figures with 13.
