Basketball: Zion Lutheran School Cougars compete on a national stage

The Cougars finished their season by playing in the Lutheran Basketball Athletic Association national tournament in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

FORT WAYNE, IN. - The Zion Lutheran School 7th-8th grade basketball team had the opportunity to compete on a national level as they competed in the 75th annual Lutheran Basketball Athletic Association Tournament of Champions from March 23-26, 2023, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The Cougars faced Christ - Peoria in the first round and St. Peter’s - Columbus, Indiana, in the tournament. The Cougars didn’t win a game at the tournament but were very thankful to have the opportunity to take the players, cheerleaders, family, friends, and more to the tournament.

This was the first time the Cougars have played at the national tournament.

Gardens Homes - Milwaukee won the tournament.

The Cougars finished a successful season by playing at the national tournament and are thankful for those who helped make it happen.
