The Alexandria baseball team came away with two more wins Tuesday after sweeping the Fergus Falls Otters in a home doubleheader.

Luke Levasseur threw a complete-game shutout in game one. He allowed only four hits and struck out three batters in the 4-0 win.

In game two, Alexandria beat Fergus Falls 6-3 behind a great pitching performance from Tate Breitkreutz. He pitched six innings and got the win. Breitkreutz allowed four hits, two walks and struck out five.

The Cardinals (9-2) took a 6-1 lead heading into the seventh inning. The Otters' two late runs weren't enough to complete the comeback.

Alexandria's offense primarily came in the fourth inning. Dominic Schmidt drove in a run with an RBI single. Isaac Petersion drove in three more runs with a bases-clearing double over the centerfielder's head. He added another RBI double in the top of the sixth inning to drive Matthew Carlsen home. Peterson had a great day, going 4-for-4 with four RBIs.
