The Alexandria boys tennis team used a second straight match against St. Cloud Apollo to get some of their junior varsity players experience in a varsity match and move other guys around to different spots in the lineup.
The Cardinals rolled over Apollo 7-0 on April 30 and won again on Monday in a 6-1 final. It moved Alexandria to 11-0 overall and 8-0 in the Central Lakes Conference.

Landon Schabel, Owen Gilbertson, Andrew Wegner and Ryan Meuwissen all won in straight sets in the singles lineup.
“Colton Schabel and Garrett Moore moved into second doubles to play their first varsity match,” Alexandria head coach Dave Ronning said. “They had no problems winning, and just surrendered three games.”
Tyler Jabas and Brennen Lattimer won by forfeit at third doubles. Apollo won its lone match at first doubles in three sets.
