Figure skaters filled the ice for the 19th annual Alexandria Figure Skating Clubs' Battle of the Blades Saturday at the Runestone Community Center. Skaters from Grand Forks, North Dakota; Breezy Point, Willmar, Duluth, Fergus Falls, Park Rapids, Richmond, St. Cloud, Grand Rapids, Thief River Falls, Brainerd and Watertown, South Dakota, along with local competitors were on hand for the United States Figure Skating-approved basic skills competition.
