The Alexandria Area Tennis Association hosted its fifth annual middle school jamboree on July 26 with 35 players taking part.
Athletes from Alexandria, Elbow Lake, Brainerd, Baxter, St. Cloud, Staples, Benson, New London-Spicer, Willmar and Fergus Falls played in both singles and doubles competitions at the jamboree at the Alexandria Area High School tennis courts. Each player gets four 45-minute matches throughout the day.
The Alexandria Area Tennis Association is in its eighth year of providing opportunities for players of all ages in the Alexandria area. Alexandria Industries, EVOLVE Orthodontics, High Point Homes, J & K Tool, Paula Jackson/RE/MAX Lakes Area Realty, and Mission Mechanical served as sponsors for the jamboree.
