The Alexandria 13U AAA baseball team wrapped up a third-place finish at the Minnesota Sports Federation state tournament.
Alexandria played five games in Ham Lake this past weekend and went 3-2. Losses came to Northfield in a 6-4 final and to Blaine in a 3-0 game. In between those, this group beat Minnetonka 7-2 and Edina 8-4 on Saturday before turning around and beating Shoreview in a 4-1 game on Sunday morning.
The team is coached by Todd Johnson, Al Fetting and Erik Wimmer. Players at the state tournament were Blake Scholl, Landon Gess-Norling, Connor Anderson, Zach Iverson, Griffin Wimmer, Brett Meyer, Sam Wiseman, Brody Adelman, Nolan Fetting and Nolan Johnson.
