The Alexandria boys basketball team had a three-game winning streak snapped with a 46-43 loss at Little Falls.
The Cardinals dropped to 5-3 overall and the Flyers moved to 4-2.
“Alex was sluggish from the start of the game and never really got into much of a rhythm offensively,” head coach Forrest Witt said. “Defensively, the Cards played well enough to keep them in the game and within striking distance, but a few critical breakdowns throughout each half proved costly in this game.”
The Cardinal boys were trying to get back on track last night, Thursday, with a game at Sartell-St. Stephen (2-5, 1-2 CLC). They will welcome in Detroit Lakes on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
