Adapted bowling: Hannah Johnson, Grace Johannes pace Cardinals in home invite

Alexandria puts multiple teams and individuals in the top 10 across different divisions.

The Alexandria adapted bowling team hosted its annual invite recently as the Cardinals matched up against other teams from around the state in multiple divisions of play.

Grace Johannes and Hannah Johnson both brought home wins from the invite in their divisions. Johnson was the No. 1 girls’ finisher in CI Singles as she rolled a series score of 439. Shanti Esters of Mankato East was second at 417.

Johannes rolled a 392 in the female PI Singles Division. That was just in front of a 390 rolled by an Austin bowler.

Liam Olson led the Alexandria boys in the male CI Singles Division with a 399. Peter Roelike of St. Michael-Albertville paced that group with a 428.

Other individual top-10 finishers for Alexandria were Morrigan Reinke (fourth, 405, ASD Singles Female), Montana Hinnenkamp (seventh, 361, ASD Singles Female), Sebastian Billings (third, 434, ASD Singles Male), and Alexander Billings (10th, 401, ASD Singles Male).

Alexander Billings and Sebastian Billings joined Reinke and Evan Larson to take third in the ASD team event with a total series score of 1,622.

In CI team play, Alexandria’s Hannah Johnson, Robert Goor, Zechariah Davidson and Logan Usher combined for a 1,527. That was good for seventh place, with Mankato East winning that team title with a 1,619.
