Abby Hamman wins Worthington Invite for the Alexandria College women's golf team

The men's team for the Legends compete at the University of Mary.

The Alexandria College Legends are in the midst of their fall golf seasons for the men and women as the Legends’ Abby Hamman shot a 79 on Sept. 29 to win an invitational in Worthington.

Teammate Jenna Stetz finished third with a 105.

“Abby is a great player and even though this was a small tournament, it was great for her to get another round in before she heads to regionals next week,” Alexandria College coach Scott Dirck said in a release.

The men’s golf team for Alexandria College played at the two-day University of Mary Fall Golf Invitational on Sept. 26 and 27.

The Legends finished fourth as a team as Jayme French tied for eighth individually after shooting rounds of 78 and 73 for a 151. Connor Josephson was right behind him with a 153 (76, 77).

Lukas Justesen finished 15th (159). Evan Dietz was 17th (162), Hunter Brunkow 24th (172), Caden Chromy 25th (176), Gannon Lueck 28th (181) and Noah Cunningham 29th (183) to finish off Alexandria’s lineup.
