The Brandon-Evansville softball team has won eight straight games after a doubleheader sweep of Ashby on Friday night.

The Chargers (12-2) won a 12-10 game over the Arrows before a 9-1 win in the nightcap. They had 15 hits in game two to open up the contest.

“This was a much better all-around game from start to finish,” B-E head coach Kasi Sieling said. “We collected hits from everyone in our starting lineup, with five getting multiple hits in the nightcap. Defensively, we played much better, but are still looking to be more aggressive and take away any extra chances teams get. These were two big conference wins and put us in a good position as we head into the last week of regular season.”
